CAMBRIDGE MIX HAND MADE PEGTILES

The Cambridge Mix hand made pegtiles are available with a complimentary range of fittings. Eaves, Tile and Halfs, Bonnets, Valleys and a comprehensive range of ridges from Hogs Back to Half round with vent ridges are all available.

It is essential that the tiles and fittings are laid by a roofer experienced in laying hand made tiles. It is very easy for the true effect of these tiles to be lost if a roofer tries to lay the tiles in the same way that he would lay a mass produced tile. Hand made clay tiles are individual products and need to be treated accordingly. As with a dry stone wall a roofer needs to position each tile in the most suitable position.

To ensure the right effect with these tiles, it is recommended that roofers obtain a copy of the Cambridgeshire County Council Guidelines to Laying Pegtiles - Conservation Note No. 13. Copies are available from our office.
